Have you always been a bookworm?
Yes, I've always loved to read. When I was younger I would read entire books in a day.
List 3 books that you always wanted to read but haven’t gotten around to:
The Hunger Games - I've heard so many things about them, but wasn't sure I would like them. I figured I would read them at some point since there is a movie now (which I haven't seen yet, either).
Do you collect any particular author?
I love Gregg Olsen. I have most of his books.
Have you ever disliked a book so much that you couldn't finish it?
I tried reading the first The Game of Thrones book because I had a few friends that were really into it - but definitely not me. I could barely get through a few chapters. It's not even the type of book(s) I like, but I thought I'd give it a try.
Where do you usually get your books?
Barnes and Noble for my Nook
Where do you do most of your reading?
At home and work (when I'm on break).
Do you have any "guilty pleasure" books -- Something you're almost embarrassed to admit enjoying?
I'm not really embarrassed to admit to any books I read. I just recently got into the Stephanie Plum series, but I don't mind talking about it. :)
What was your favorite book when you were a child?
I read the Babysitters Club books when I was a kid. I was a member of their book club and everything.
What is your favorite passage from a book?
Hmm…I don't think I have a favorite passage from a book, honestly.
What do you do with books when you finish with them?
I keep them if I really liked them. Sometimes I donate them, too.
Do you loan out your books to friends/family/coworkers?
Yes! I love that you can loan books via the Nook & Kindle apps now.
2. "The Girl who Played with Fire" by Stieg Larsson
3. "The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest" by Stieg Larsson
4. "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom
5. "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold
What ONE book should we all read?
How have I never heard of Gregg Olsen?!? Read the book summaries on goodreads and I think that this author and I will get along just fine.
ReplyDeleteI love the Babysitters Club books as a kid -- I fancied myself a Claudia :)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love Tuesdays with Morrie!!! It's on my permanent bookshelf. :)
